This CD has the following songs that the LP is missing: Jumping Jack Flash Stray Cat Blues Prodigal Son You Gotta Move Under My Thumb Live With Me Satisfaction Below review is courtesy of: John Mazcko "This recording is from the Oakland second show, November 9th 1969. Simply the best 'live' recording of '69. With, of course, the exception of the Stones' own GET YER YA-YA'S OUT!" - Sister Morphine This was supposedly the first bootleg released on a mass market. The popularity of this album led to the release of Get Your Ya Ya's Out in 1970. Compared to today's standards of audience recordings, this won't impress the soundboard buyers. However the history of this bootleg is what makes this CDR so popular. The 1969 American tour was their first since 1966 and the first to feature Mick Taylor as the lead guitarist. Although the quality is not the greatest, this CDR offers a great document of the tour. This concert is uncut and uncensored and a pretty good listen. There are very few decent soundboards by the Stones from this time, but this is an exception! It may in fact be a better tour document than Get Yer Ya Ya's Out! Most of Get Yer Ya Ya's Out is fake anyway due to edits etc... However this is the real thing from the crowd's point of view! As far as songs go that can be found on both Get Yer Ya Ya's Out and Liver Than You'll Ever Be, they sound very similar in performance. However there are some great versions of songs from this tour that didn't make Ya Ya's. The best of these are I'm Free, Under My Thumb, Satisfaction, and Gimme Shelter and are performed well on this release.
