I hate drum solos. Notes that came with the 74-Aug recording: Audience Recording 88 min. very good - partly excellent Lineage : master > cassette >?> CDR > flac This recording is from an extremely powerful and energetic set Magma played at La Grande Motte in August 1974. The sound quality varies from being a little rough VG during the loud sections to crystal clear in quiet segments. Also, the club seems to be smaller, and the PA distorts a little itself. Christian and Janik definitely play their asses off.... Enjoy. Brought to you by olvator Notes that came with the 74-Feb-6 recording: Havenīt seen too much Magma here on DaD lately, so here is a nice show from 1974, featuring (in my humble opinion) the best Magma line-up there ever was. Jannick Top on bass is unbelievable. From the shows that are circulating featuring 74 performances, this has always been my favourite. The Mekanik version from Bremen is worth the download alone. Some weird singing by Christian V. in the middle, unheard on any other version Iīve come across so far. The sound quality is very good, not chrystal clear though. there is some FM hiss during the beginning, and sometimes during the later parts, but the musical quality is much more important. well itīs a soundboard recording, so itīs not that bad. Enjoy
