1973-October-14 (possibly 1973 Jan-Aug) Can levelled version Musikhalle Hamburg, Germany Disc 1 - 59.32 1 Vitamin C Improv > 49.59 2 Spoon 9.33 Disc 2 - 50.53 1 Improvisation > 22.39 2 Improvisation > 12.36 3 One More Night 15.38 Total Hamburg length: 110.25 Holger Czukay Bass Michael Karoli Guitar, possibly Vocals Jaki Liebezeit Drums Irmin Schmidt Keyboards Damo Suzuki Vocals I think that another band member does some of the singing at this show, most likely Karoli (?). My reason for saying this is that sometimes it sounds without a doubt that it is Damo singing. Then there are times when it definitely does not sound like Damo. Just Listening to the "Hamburg 73-Oct-14" version of Vitamin C, this long set is only until the end of the 8th minute recognizable as Vitamin C. It afterwards develops into a very interesting improvisation which starts out fairly wild but is interlazed with quieter passages. The one I'm just listening to features an extented guitar solo. There are also several vocal passages that bear no resemblance to Vitamin C. It also does not return to the Vitamin C theme later on. The transition to "Spoon" is without a break.
