Pirate's World was a pirate-themed amusement park that 
opened in 1966 and closed in 1975, due mostly to 
competition from nearby Disney World. Pirate's World
hosted many concerts during its existence.


Notes that came with this recording:

This is an audience recording that I got from a friend of 
mine in the early 80's. It was recorded in Dania, Florida 
1970 (no other date was available). The band was touring 
to promote the Metamorphosis album (which had been released 
on 70-Aug-13). 

My tape was on a very good Maxell XL ll and I assume it is 
at least a 3rd gen copy... It is a very solid recording. 
My tape is obviously in mono, and one channel sounded much 
cleaner, so after several listens, I decided to just use one 
channel rather than muddy it up by adding the darker channel. 
(this seed is in 2 tracks, of course) 

I used SOUNDFORGE to do my editing. IN A GADDA DA VIDA was 
split over Side A and Side B, so I left the segments that 
way and named them Pt 1 and Pt 2. (This entire song lasted 
over 28min with some really different solos - a real treasure). 
I did a small amount of EQ with the SOUNDFORGE, but left the 
show so you can tweek it with your tone controls to your liking. 
I used FlacFrontend to convert the files to flac. 

Over all a good sounding audience recording that is almost 
35 years old! This band was so hot at this show!!
